About Latitude 27 Charters

Captain Marc and first mate Sharon are a husband and wife team that owns and operates Latitude 27 Charters. Captain Marc has been on the water for 50+ years. His passion for saltwater, sailing, snorkeling, diving, and boating is endless. Captain Marc is a US Coast Guard Master Captain and is fully insured.

The definition of latitude is the angular distance of a place north or south of the earth’s equator, usually expressed in degrees and minutes (“at a latitude of 27° N”). It can also mean scope for freedom of action or thought. Latitude 27 is here in SW Florida, beginning at Manasota Key/Manasota Beach, some of the most beautiful waterways of Florida. Our boat, “New Attitude”, is named in the spirit of Jimmy Buffet’s song. We strive to create an experience that aligns with the song’s vibe, changing latitude, and perhaps attitudes, a great way to make our boat excursions memorable for our customers.

We offer a fantastic difference from other charters! When you boat with us, it is all about you and what you want to do and see. All our tours are private and customized to ensure your celebration or special event is relaxing, safe, and fun!

Whether you are looking for a family outing, a romantic view of the sunset, or waterside dining/tiki hut/bar hopping by boat, we can make it happen!

Our charter tours rent by the hour and not the person. We charge $150 per hour, a two-hour minimum, for up to six people.

About Our Boat New Attitude

New Attitude

Latitude 27 Charters will help you make the most of your day on the water aboard our Hurricane 2400 Sundeck, named “New Attitude”, a deck boat vessel with an open design that offers ample space and comfort for 6 people.

New Attitude features a bathroom, fresh water rinse and sink and plenty of dry storage for your personal belongings. A GPS, Marine radio, Bimini Top for plenty of shade, and all required Safety Equipment are onboard. We guarantee a comfortable, safe, and enjoyable time aboard New Attitude.
